Metal enclosed Minibloc switchboards  24 kV - 630 A - 20 kA

Medium voltage cubicles, Minibloc type with internal arc proof 16kA x 1 sec, work with RIR type load break switch, enabling compact switchboard dimensions of 500 mm width.

One of the main apparatus characteristics, which is air insulation, with double blow extinguishment arc, rated voltage up to 24 kV, is width of 496 mm.
The insulators pistons drive device is directly operated, through rotating beam, allowing the removal of the two operating shafts and their kinetic working motion.
The above mentioned device, combined with double breaking (through a self air blow), allows reduction of dimensions performing same dimensions as SF6 equipments.

The L.B.S. RIR is:
ECOLOGICAL: since it is air insulated, there are no problems as for the use of SF6 (during production phase , during working phase and at the end of equipments life );
SAFE: it is not closed into an enclosure, therefore its position is directly seen by the operator;
RELIABLE: thanks to the lesser contacts wear, it needs lesser maintenance.
